Peter A. Quinter, Shareholder in Charge of the Customs and International Trade Law Group at the law firm of GrayRobinson will present on March 19, 2014, during Part 3 of the Florida Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association Seminar Series, “When the Government Comes Knockin’.” Quinter’s presentation, “Handling Visits and Inquiries from Uninvited Regulatory Officials,” will emphasize Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security, and Customs and Border Protection. Attendees of the event will gain valuable insight on how to properly deal with and respond to various civil and criminal inquiries law enforcement officials may initiate.

Quinter is Vice Chair of the American Bar Association’s Customs Law Committee, and Chair of the Florida Bar’s International Trade and Customs Committee. He principally represents individuals and companies in resolving problems regarding their import and export activities, especially matters involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
