Sam Mandelbaum is the only Lawyer in Florida who is board certified in International Law and Civil Trial Law. He has a top rating of “A-V” from the national Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory (the highest peer rating for legal ability and ethical standards) and is listed in Florida SuperLawyers. in Who’s Who in American Law for “Outstanding Achievement” in Civil Litigation. In addition to years of practice experience with complex litigation and international matters, Mr. Mandelbaum has served since 1996 for 25 semesters as an Adjunct Law Professor at three of Florida’s law schools – University of Florida Levin College of Law, Florida A&M University College of Law and Stetson University College of Law – teaching a variety of courses in the international law, litigation and mediation areas.

To enhance my qualifications and standing in The Florida Bar.
What are some benefits you received from being Board Certified?
Getting retained by prospective clients for international legal work comes easier; and my ability to handle complicated international matters is much better. This experience and knowledge allows me to better understand my client’s individual needs and makes me effective at obtaining results that meet those needs.
Any best tips or advice to ILS Members preparing for the Certification Exam?
Study hard and familiarize yourself with the areas being tested on the certification exams.
