ILS Chair’s News & Notes
Dear ILS Members,
Another Friday, another opportunity to engage in our favorite activity, which is of course reading our Gazette.
For those in South Florida and the Panhandle, keep your eyes and ears open on news regarding approaching storms, and be safe and prepared. But in the meantime, don’t forget to take our survey, the link to which is included in our Gazette, regarding live participation in our leadership retreat, consistent with Covid-19/CDC safety procedures, social distancing, masking etc., to be held on Florida’s West Coast in November. We need your input!
Also, remember to get involved with out Steering Committee for the iLaw2021! The Committee is soliciting ideas for panels for our flagship conference being held at the end of February. Remembers that we are always looking for webinar proposals; showcase your talents and practices! Our International Law Deskbook is available for purchase and is an excellent resource for those looking for Florida Bar board certification. Purchase your copy now!
For those interested in getting involved with the Section in our different committees, please feel free to contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org, and I will put you in contact with those committee chairs. Our Section committees include, but are not limited to, those focusing on Asia, human rights and public international law, mediation and arbitration, legislation, the International Law Quarterly magazine, white collar crime, immigration issues, international tax, women in international law, foreign legal consultants, and on and on. Contact me with your interests.
Stay tuned for our next ILS Lunch & Learn, which we are planning for mid-September.
Our Gazette is always available for publication of short blog type articles and interesting news and updates about ILS Members. Take advantage of these opportunities by contacting Davide Macelloni, our Gazette’s editor, at email@example.com.
Have a great weekend, stay safe and healthy.
