ILS Chair’s News & Notes
Contingency planning has never felt more important. As we start winding up our endeavors for ILS 2019-2020, we are already planning for ILS 2020-2021. If you are interested in staying involved on a certain committee or becoming more involved on a certain committee, email the incoming Chair, Bob Becerra (email@example.com) with your interest.
Make plans to join us Friday, June 19 from 9:30 – 12 p.m. at the ILS Annual Meeting via Zoom. This year’s meeting will be virtual and very much focused on forward planning Section activities. We want your participation on this call and look forward to your input.
Here are additional ways you can stay involved before the Annual Meeting:
- ILS Webinars. Katherine Sanoja, ILS CLE Chair, is working with groups to put together a series of upcoming Webinars. Email your proposal at Katherine.firstname.lastname@example.org.
- ILS Publishing. The Gazette/ILQ are publishing articles on emerging critical legal issues. Submit your article to Laura Reich (Laura@reichrodriguez.com) or Ana Barton (ABarton@reedsmith.com).
- ILS Networking and Referrals. Reach out to Bob Becerra with your proposal for an ILS Networking Event. If you or your organization is planning or hosting an international law program, the ILS Gazette is happy to help spread the word. Let us know how we can promote you!
There are more upcoming announcements we hope to share with you so continue reading the ILS Gazette for the latest news.
