FT. LAUDERDALE – February 10, 2015 – Glenn M. Cooper, shareholder in GrayRobinson’s Ft. Lauderdale’s office, will speak at the 2015 Conference: Doing Business in the United States/Florida hosted by the Quebec-Florida Chamber of Commerce on March 17, 2015. Cooper, President of the Florida Chapter of the Quebec Chamber of Commerce, will discuss business immigration at the conference.
Cooper advocates for and represents his international clients before state and federal government agencies. His practice focuses on assisting U.S. companies, foreign companies, investors and professionals regarding U.S. immigration laws whereby he helps clients secure business and investor visas such as the L-1, E-1, E-2, H-1B and O-1 visas. Cooper also assists clients regarding U.S. permanent residence and naturalization applications. Additionally, Cooper’s practice includes advising international clients on corporate, business and contract law matters in Florida. Cooper serves on the Board of Directors of the Quebec-Florida Chamber of Commerce and is President of that Chamber’s Florida chapter. He is Co-Chair of the International Action Team of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, the economic development agency for Broward County, whose mission is to bring international business and investment to the Greater Fort Lauderdale area. Cooper is a member of the Board of Directors and Vice-Chair of the Government Affairs Group of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, the largest regional chamber of commerce in Florida.
